Visited the hotel during deer season. Rooms were clean (if a little dated), everything worked as it should, and the staff were very accommodating. Booked for two days and ended up filling my tag after 1.5 days. When checking out 6 hours after checkout time, the owners exact words were, "It doesn't seem right to charge you for two days when you were only here for one and a half". He charged me for 75% of the total 2 days even though he had every right to charge me for the full 2 days. Good people. Will be staying here again.
The food is really good. Recommend getting the baked potatoe soup when it is served.
This place is a dump. Broken window, dirty tub, no soap and just down right dirty looking.
Nice clean, friendly little motel with a restaurant & bar next door. Microwave, mini fridge with heat, air conditioning & free wifi. Gas station right across the highway.
EXCELLENT customer service, room and bathroom were clean, internet connection was great, attached restaurant/bar was nice and I was happy to not have to venture out into the blizzard to get food. A previous review mentioned they are updating the rooms... I think I got one of the non-updated rooms since the place filled up due to a huge blizzard, and it took a few hours for the room to warm up from the baseboard heater, but extra blankets were available and everything else was great. Nice big parking lot. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Also this hotel is nice and quiet. I spent the previous 2 nights in the Jamestown Super 8, and definitely prefer the Artos.
